Process definitions for program development and program management
The development and establishment of a new or the modification of an existing Bachelor's or Master's degree program usually requires a long lead time, many work steps to be carried out and the approval of various committees of Clausthal University of Technology (Faculty Council or, in the case of cross-faculty degree programs, Senate, Presidium) and, if necessary, the MWK.
In addition, when establishing a new degree program, for example, an accreditation procedure must have been successfully completed by the start of the new degree program.
All necessary process steps for the establishment and modification of study programs, initial and concept accreditations, re-accreditations and closure of study programs have been defined in the following process definitions of Clausthal University of Technology.
In this context, please also note the binding rules for the modularization of degree programs, which are available in the Clausthal University of Technology's Administrative Handbook.
- Process definition for the establishment and initial/concept accreditation of degree programs
- Process definition for the re-accreditation of degree programs
- Process definition for accreditation-relevant significant changes to study programs
- Process definition for non-accreditation-relevant AFB changes
- Process definition for the closure of study programs
- Process definition for updating catalogs of compulsory elective modules
