In 2013, the Senate decided to have the evaluation system for courses at Clausthal University of Technology reviewed and, if necessary, partially redesigned. This task was assigned to an evaluation committee.

The tasks of the evaluation officer include the design and implementation of a new internal evaluation procedure in collaboration with the evaluation committee.

The content of a new standardized evaluation form was developed in 2014 and 2015 in cooperation with the professors, the study commissions, the faculties and the Centre for University Didactics.

For individual surveys on courses, the evaluation officer will be happy to support you with advice on the procedure, design and implementation of the evaluation.

The individual teaching evaluation project was already accepted by some lecturers in summer semester 2014 and continued in winter semester 2014/15.

The new evaluation regulations for teaching were adopted at the Senate meeting on May 19, 2015. The study commissions and the Vice President for Studies and Teaching have authorized the new standard evaluation form, which will be used from the winter semester 2015/16.

The new standard evaluation form makes it possible to integrate questions specific to lecturers and courses (see sample). In future, only the first seven questions will form the MaikePlus-relevant global indicator.
